Hindi Language History

• Haryanvi:

• Hindustani (or Khariboli):
Spoken in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh.

b) Eastern Hindi

• Chhattisgarhi: Spoken in central and northern part of Chhattisgarh and also in southeast Madhya Pradesh.
• Bagheli:
Spoken in south-eastern Uttar Pradesh and north-central Madhya Pradesh.
• Awadhi:
Spoken in northern and north-central part of UP.
• Bhojpuri:
Spoken in northern Chhatisgarh, northwestern Jharkhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh, northeastern Madhya Pradesh, western Bihar and Madhesh (Nepal). The Bhojpuri diaspora is also found in Suriname, Bangladesh, South Africa, Pakistan, Mauritius, Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean, Jamaica, Guyana and Fiji.
